Being useful in death is an example comes from the demise of well known actor and director Ramesh Aravind father Sri Govindachaari.

As desired by Ramesh Aravind father the eyes were donated to eye bank and the body to MSR Ramaiah medical college for the medical students dissection purpose.

The formalities for 80 years Govindachari were very simple after death. Ramesh Aravind and his brothers handed over the body of their father to MSR Ramaiah in the morning after relatives and friends paid last respect.

It may be recalled that the director, actor and producer of high reputation Lokesh, son of first hero of Kannada cinema Subbaiah Naidu wished for similar move. His body was also handed over to MSR Ramaiah Medical College.

Later when Make Up Naani – father of actor, writer and director Prakash Belawadi, Sudha Belawadi, husband of senior actress Bhargavi Narayan, grandfather of actress Samyuktha Horanadu passed away the body was handed over to St John hospital by Prakash Belawadi as his father wished for it.
